Maranda Ginop

Maranda Ginop is 23 years old and is a native of Petoskey where she lives with her parents and sister on their farm in Joy Valley. She is the granddaughter of Martha and LeRoy Sutfin. She has been musically inclined all her life and in 2013 she entered Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant for Music Education with a vocal focus. She enjoys learning opera and has been cast in CMU's coming spring show, Mozart's Marriage of Figaro, as the Countess. She loves musical theatre as well and performed in Bay View's Les Miserables earlier this summer in the chorus. In the school year she has a job in Midland as the youth worship director at the United Methodist Church and previously played piano for another church in the area. In the summer she is passionate about working on the farm with her horses teaching people to ride horses as well as teaching music.
