Their slogan describes them well "Gospel Music, Family Style." This family's love for God and each other will be evident the moment that you meet them. Gary and Margie grew up in Michigan and became high school sweethearts, marrying after Gary's first year of Bible College. God bless them with three children Christopher, Stephanie and Tucker. They have been together in full time ministry as a family since 1990. Gary was ordained with the United Brethren In Christ Church in 2004. They have pastored two congregations one in Saginaw, MI and currently in Port Orange, Florida. They have toured with their music throughout the eastern U.S. as well as Canada.

In a Vander Veen Concert today you can expect to hear many different styles of music, something for every generation to enjoy. A special song from one of their 5 grandchildren is very possible. Their message is to encourage the family and uplift God's Church. Their prayer is that the family, as well as the Church will stand strong together and through example of commitment and service, show the world the unconditional love of a Heavenly Father who longs to have an eternal relationship with His people through the Lord Jesus Christ.
